Key Account Manager HPP Nord-West
This is what you will do:
The Key Account Manager HPP will develop commercial relationships and value-adding activities in collaboration with hospital opinion leaders and decision makers in order to maximize access to Alexion products within key accounts/hospitals identified in the region.
You will be responsible for:
- Implementation of Alexion’s Key Account Management approach in close collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Market Access and other key functions
- Establish and maintain contacts to hospital and office based Osteologists, Endocrinologists, Pediatrics and Rheumatologists and other relevant specialties (e.g. Nephrologists), pharmacists, nurses and other relevant hospital personnel to establish and maintain a valuable Business Relationship to customers for Alexion
- Create a positive image of Alexion Pharma Germany GmbH with relevant customer groups
- Detailed analysis of area with the objective to detect and develop HPP-relevant treatment centers in collaboration with the cross-functional team
- Development of insights-based KAM plans for all top accounts/treatment centers. KAM plans include account and key decision maker prioritization and in-depth situational analysis based on e.g. SWOT, barriers and drivers
- Set clear strategic objectives and develop regional win-win value propositions (e.g. commercial events)
- Provide educational and commercial services to hospital- and office-based physicians and relevant pharmacies
- Selling Alexion products within legal boun¬daries according to Alexion’s marketing and sales strategy
- Self-dependent planning, organization and exe¬cution of local educational sessions for relevant healthcare professionals
- Actively look for cross-functional collaboration (Marketing, CNM, MSL, DLS, MACC)
- Timely and complete reporting and presentation of account plans including KPIs to senior positions and accurate maintenance of the CRM database
- Collect and report pharmacovigilance information according to internal SOPs
- Represent their territories in regular territory reviews and account plan discussions
- Represent Alexion Pharma Germany GmbH at national and international events and congresses
- Obey data protection law according to Alexion’s policy and follow Alexion’s SOPs and compliance policies
You will need to have:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in a scientific or related field. Or qualified nurse or other degree-level ancillary medical staff (e.g. Physiotherapy or Clinical Research Scientist) and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success in securing hospital formularies for complex products
- Track record of achievement managing sales territory in a highly specialized area of medicine – endocrinology, bone disease, rheumatology, experience strongly preferred
- Must have established industry network and relationships within territory
- Influential presentation style with demonstrated ability to uncover and address customer needs and effectively manage customer concerns and questions
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with a diverse customer base
- Strong business, analytical and clinical acumen
- Must have all relevant professional licenses and credentials required for job
We would prefer for you to have:
- Should have ability to attend, understand and participate in International meetings conducted in English
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency, well-organized, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
